Sonic resources ... The Plumbing Sounds for musique concrète can come from anywhere - I recently had to fix a small fault in the plumbing in our house.  While the header-tank for the hot water system was exposed, I noticed some interesting sounds when other people were using hot water!   The eight files below were recorded using a large-diaphragm condenser mic [Behringer C1] over the header tank while I was taking a shower ... To reduce unwanted noise transmitted up the mic stand, I mounted the C1 in a suspension cradle.
